WA EVENT – Curtin Science for the Curious – 8 December 2009

What area of science should you try, what courses can you consider, what is university even like?

On the evening of 8 December 2009, Curtin will open the doors to its new Resources and Chemistry Precinct and answer these questions! Staff and current university students will be on site, to assist school leavers with any questions they may have about science courses

Meet our experts in chemistry, nanotechnology, physics, astronomy and other fields. Find out all the TER info you need, tour the Precinct and try out some hands-on science in the state-of-the-art facilities.

The Curtin Resources and Chemistry Precinct was completed in August 2009. It is a $116 million research powerhouse and boasts among the best laboratories in Australia and houses over 200 research and industry scientists, including the State Government¹s ChemCentre.

Date: Tuesday, 8 December 2009 Time: 5.00 pm ­ 7.00 pm Location: Curtin Resources and Chemistry Precinct, Bentley Campus, South Entrance (Entry at lights on Manning Road) Getting there on public transport: Take Bus 101 from Canning Bridge Railway Station and get off at Bentley Campus South Entrance Parking: Free parking is available adjacent to the Precinct in Carpark P7D
