Brief description:

This was a joint initiative of Australian Science Communicators WA, Inspiring Australia WA Group, Scitech and The University of Western Australia, to provide WA science communicators with an update on the national science communication landscape. Dr Simon Carroll opened with an overview of the objectives of Inspiring Australia and the WA contingent’s recent to advance science communication. Professor Leonie Rennie then discussed Inspiring Australia’s Building an Evidence Base project. Jo Elliott and Sarah Lau then facilitated a discussion about event objectives and evaluation. The discussion outcomes were used to inform the development of the Inspiring Australia evaluation resources.
