Science engagement in Australia

Welcome to the results of the biggest snapshot ever taken of science engagement in Australia. You can read more about the project here or dive right in to the visualisations by clicking on the images or links below.

How do I use the visualisations?

There are two interactive ways to view key aspects of the reported activities – bubbles and the map.

The bubbles allow you to compare pairs of key categories selected from the national survey about science engagement activities.

The map provides a range of search filters for you to locate where types of activities are managed and sometimes delivered.

Learn more about using the visualisations by using the “How to use?” link on the top right of each visualisation. You can also view the full “How to use?” text for the bubbles here and the map here.
