ASC-WA at the Resource Recycling and Recovery Centre
On 22 February, the ASC-WA branch headed to the Regional Resource Recovery Centre (RRRC) in Canningvale to have a tour behind the scenes of the recycling facility. The RRRC’s Community Engagement and Communications Officer, Taryn Beagley was an amazing host, who took us around the facility and told us all about the Waste Education Program – Recycle Right – that she has been working on. After the event, for those who were interested, we had lunch at ‘The Last Drop Brewery and Restaurant’. (7 attendees)
