Tickets & RSVP
While this event is a satellite event of the ASC2023 conference, you do not need a ticket to the conference to attend this event. We do ask you to RSVP here though so that we can coordinate catering and venue.
Note that conference attendees who have RSVP’d via the conference ticketing site do not need to RSVP here as well.
Want to be involved?
Want to present a new or exciting way to demonstrate a scientific concept or message? Get involved and share your ideas as part of the Extravaganza!
Your presentation could be something you’ve used for years, something you’ve whipped together last minute or something you want to try out for a bit of fun. It can be any style of engagement, poetry, interpretive dance, explosive.
While we are flexible, we’re looking for demos that can be shown in around 5 minutes. Let us know if you need longer.
DEADLINE FOR DEMO SUBMISSION IS 4 PM AEDT, THURSDAY 9 FEB.
After filling in the detail in this form, you will be contacted by Dr Graham Walker who will work with you to make sure you have access to everything you need.
A good demo isn’t a good demo without risk management. Graham will also work with you to ensure everything is safe and any crucial risk mitigation is in place.
Thank you
This event is being co-hosted with the Australian National Centre for the Public Awareness of Science, based out of the Australian National University. We thank CPAS for their valued support and contribution.
