The South East Queensland ASC Committee aims to create a social and thought-provoking experience by organising social get-togethers, professional development workshops and fun and interesting science and communication events for local ASC members.

We invite knowledgeable and relevant professionals to speak on current issues relating to science communication at our get-togethers and events.

2011 Events

Social get-togethers

We meet every second Wednesday of each month at the Ship Inn, South Bank from 6pm onwards, for a meal, drink and a chat. We will be trying to get some guest speakers throughout the year to give a little presentation on current or interesting topics in science and/or science communication.
