ACIAR, a small government agency within the Australian aid program, offers a chance for communicators to make a contribution that can have wide reaching international impact.

Science Communicator (EL 1), salary. $84,657 – $91,413 plus 15.4% super. Responsible for the production of ACIAR’s major research awareness publications and information packages, you will take a lead role in researching and advising on appropriate content and awareness raising activities. You will be an experienced professional with demonstrable skills in interpreting complex scientific concepts for non-scientific audiences. Your energetic approach to working in a small team to tight deadlines will be highly valued.

Communications Officer (APS 4), salary $54, 817 – $59,520 plus 15.4% super. Are you a recent graduate seeking an entry level position? This is a diverse and challenging role in which you will be responsible for providing support to the communications unit and assisting the Information Manager with associated web-based activities. Your enthusiastic and flexible approach to cooperative work practices is a must in this role.
